Oakland, CA Taco Truck “Tacos El Gordo”

Since 1929 Eisenberg’s has been serving it up NYC diner-style. It’s been a couple overdue years since last visiting, but was stoked to be shooting photos for Hellmann’s mayonnaise along side the video boys from Picture Farm.

Video Vignettes From Japan

JAPAN

After two weeks traveling in Japan I present my photos from Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Ohkihama Beach. Japan has just about everything I could of imagined: lush mossy gardens with blooming cherry trees, hustle of city life, tasty food, music and most important - warm hospitality.

Taking photos of the locals aboard a Tokyo Subway.

Cute Lil Wolf.

Pachinko Crazy-ness. It was soo unbelievably loud the sounds off metal balls bouncing around.

A night time stroll in Gion under a full moon.

Tea Ceremony before the Geisha dance.

One of my favorite things of traveling is the element of suprise. I came across a shrine and for 100 yen you walk underneath the temple in the pitch dark. After about 5 minutes of feeling my way thru the darkness, I came across this stone. Made a wish, exited into the sunshine with a feeling of being reborn.

Its love in the air as spring time brings the Cherry Blossoms in Kyoto.

Osaka was a one night stand, but damn what a hoot.

Osaka Party Boys.

The best 7 piece sushi without a doubt at the Tuskiji Fish Market. The toro was next level. Then after sushi for breakfast, decided it was time to jump aboard the Shinkansen bullet train and head down to Shikoku Island for some beach time.

Another log on the fire to heat up the onsen.

My favorite yakitori in Koenji, Tokyo. Skewers of pork bellies and chicken topped off with a miso paste, soo tasty.

No better way to learn Japanese then at a Karaoke Bar
